weekly photo challenge: curiosity

The Fog

The fog is an illusion—
A master of disguise,
Which hides the tangible
Before our very eyes.

But when the fog has lifted
Everything’s still there,
And the tangible
Only seemed to’ve disappeared.

In the early morning
Or late at night,
The fog descends
Upon various sites.

It gives an air of mystery
That has long prevailed.
Dangerously intriguing
Is the fog’s foggy veil.

  1. Mysteriously beautiful. 🙂

  2. Perfect photo for the challenge this week! I almost didn’t do it since I don’t have a kitten or baby (both good subjects for the theme) but lo and behold, my puppy helped out! Nice how the poem fits perfect also!
    Debbie 🙂

  3. Nicely done. Love the poem. Love the pic!

I enjoy the ethereal nature of FOG.

  4. Great photo! I love the fog — when I wake up to a foggy day I hurry outside so I can spend time in it. There’s a spiritual element that pulls me and allows my mind to be quiet.

It fits the Curiosity theme perfectly!

  5. Fog and curiosity are a great combination – great photo befitting the challenge!
